OK, so I painted last weekend, so this weekend we pulled the tape off, and there's quite a bit of fuckups, ya know, paint on the wood floor. I rubbed paint thinner on it, nothing. How do you get paint off of wood?

Goo Gone might work and there's another that I can't recall but I used that to get paint off of carpet and to get paint off of other paint. And you shouldn't leave the tape on for so long.

Tep, latex paint or primer. Primer is a total bitch, latex ought to come right off with a scraper or fingernail. Mineral oil cleans it all up nice too.

primer is usually sort of caulky and white, it's not the finish paint.

I'm sure you're dealing with latex paint.

Actually we did use primer for the living room, as we were changing from dark green to white, but as for the paint itself, I don't know, I suppose it was latex.

Probably latex. Oil paint reeks and kills brain cells on sight, let alone smell. If you aren't in a room with nineteen fans and sixty open windows, you'll get a tumour of a headache.
