Won't mean much to anybody except those from the U.K.

Very sad only 61.

Shocking.

Always struck me as a very nice bloke. My Dad used to call him "The Crab" cos he always passed sideways, but he was a helluva player in his day.

RIP Butch

Too nice? Seemed to struggle to criticise anyone. I wonder if he would have been a much more successful coach? He was successful, just could he have been right at the top?

Very sad, far too young.

Good story from his later days of playing. For Fulham, playing at Stockport County. County fans giving him some stick; "you bald b****rd", to which he lifted his shirt to reveal his very hairy chest. County fans immediately started chanting "you fat b****rd", to which he laughed and applauded them.

RIP Butch.
I remember the day he signed for United it was about £650,000 or something like that and I was so happy.
