The blow-outs made it meh to watch—I basically checked out by the fourth inning every night—but with two teams that are so evenly matched, the home team taking 2 of 3 seems probable. A sweep by either side would be a mild surprise. That final weekend series at Fenway shapes up to be insane.

Right now, Houston, Seattle, New York, and Boston are all playing at a pace to win 100+ games. Not saying that's going to happen, but it's crazy to consider not one but two of those teams doomed to a one-game wild card and that one of those teams wouldn't have a record good enough to host it.
