I'm surprised the Dropkick Murphys aren't trying to cash in on this.

There version of Tessie is like nails on a chalkboard for me. It was always the first song I heard when I played MVP 2005 and just that opening old-timey piano lick at the beginning. Ugh.

That said - they did some cool stuff when we were marching in Madison back in 2010 when Scott Walker and the GOP were working to take away collective bargaining from public workers. Their tweet to Walker demanding he stop using their music and concluding with the line "we literally hate you' was pretty awesome. I also literally hate Scott Walker.

I loved MLB 2005.

The worst thing about Dropkick is that their first album is fucking great, and their next two are still solid. But my god.
