I can’t wait for the boomers to disappear.

I hope he sings "Fire & Rain" and then it rains and park catches on fire.
 Think weird, Fenway—go with Black Francis.
Or Jonathan Richman. Sheesh.

I'm surprised the Dropkick Murphys aren't trying to cash in on this.
There version of Tessie is like nails on a chalkboard for me. It was always the first song I heard when I played MVP 2005 and just that opening old-timey piano lick at the beginning. Ugh.

That said - they did some cool stuff when we were marching in Madison back in 2010 when Scott Walker and the GOP were working to take away collective bargaining from public workers. Their tweet to Walker demanding he stop using their music and concluding with the line "we literally hate you' was pretty awesome. I also literally hate Scott Walker.

Wipe that smug look off your face.
He sand the national anthem in 2004, 2007, and 2013...I believe. Maybe he's some sort of good luck charm?

Sounds to me like what an old-schooler would say about willingness to adapt.

Im okay with them for the most part but much prefer the original vocalist.
Its their Bostonian neo-jingoism that I tire of most.

Well, it's 68 degrees in Los Angeles, guess it's a good thing there's no game here. I can't even with this cold weather. Had to drag the coats out of the closet this weekend.

The idea of a ten-degree shift in weather causing concern is amusing.

You wear a...a coat...at 68? That's like shorts-and-tees weather over here.

I loved MLB 2005.

The worst thing about Dropkick is that their first album is fucking great, and their next two are still solid. But my god.
