Yeah. They were a solid street punk band back in the day.revbob wrote: ↑23 Oct 2018, 4:42pmIm okay with them for the most part but much prefer the original vocalist.WestwayKid wrote: ↑23 Oct 2018, 12:47pmThere version of Tessie is like nails on a chalkboard for me. That said - they did some cool stuff when we were marching in Madison back in 2010 when Scott Walker and the GOP were working to take away collective bargaining from public workers. Their tweet to Walker demanding he stop using their music and concluding with the line "we literally hate you' was pretty awesome. I also literally hate Scott Walker.
Its their Bostonian neo-jingoism that I tire of most.

I still have it installed on my PC! It's aged well and I don't think another PC based baseball game since has been as good and the depth of modding is fantastic - getting to play past seasons is really fun.Wolter wrote: ↑23 Oct 2018, 8:13pmI loved MLB 2005.WestwayKid wrote: ↑23 Oct 2018, 12:47pmThere version of Tessie is like nails on a chalkboard for me. The worst thing about Dropkick is that their first album is fucking great, and their next two are still solid. But my god.

In all seriousness, I am quite pleased that they've sent clear signals that he's a fucking embarrassment and does not represent the image the team wants to present. As long as Pedro and Papi are available, there are much better options.

Only the Red Sox and Yankees do that I think. And the Yankees don't even do it on road uniforms. It is pretty dumb, tho, imo.
