Allo, Pierre, gimme the Alouettes by a rouge over the Stampeders. I've got three blue bills and eight purple ones, so I'll bet those.
And still have a Twooney left over for plate poutine.

Ridiculous, just ridiculous.

https://amp.barstoolsports.com/boston/t ... stadium/
even Dennis Eckersley, a Hall of Famer, said on the broadcast, “It’s so bad. It’s almost laughable,” after Luke Voit’s home run that he flicked over the wall.
And in tonight's game fucking Eck just commented on how a fly ball to left would have been a homer at Fenway. He's kind of a dick.

It's a trav-sham-ockery that all Yankee Stadia since 1923 have had an extremely short RF porch that anyone home or away could take advantage of...and that some rosters over those 95 years were constructed to take better advantage of it than others. Clearly this is a brand new controversy no one in history has ever seen before, and that no MLB stadium--least of all others with a giant fucking racquetball wall in LF--has ever led to roster construction skewed some years over others to popping higher-than-average quantities of cheap hits, with opposing commenters impotently wetting themselves with "NO FAIR!".

If Eck's brain weren't half-erased by his wino years he might've remembered all the times he himself gave up cheap homers when the porch was a mere 310 prior to its '88 reworking to the 314 that's now carried over to the New Stadium. Though I suppose Goose Gossage would then immediately phone the studio telling him to STFU because real men gave up dink homer after homer back when the original configuration was still 296.

I’ve watched laser liners hit the left field wall at Fenway for 40 years and turn dingers into singles and lollipops into dingers. Stadia giveth and taketh in the old ballgame.

If y'all think Eck is serious, you need to take a puff or a drink or two. His schtick is enthusiastic baseball hipster and he identifies with pitchers and their anxieties and irrationalities. He's joyfully intense about everything and always has been. He'll say the same shit about the Wall at Fenway—to a pitcher, a dinky fly that barely goes out feels unfair.

Angels lost 11-3 today to lower their run differential to -36 over the last three games. That's the worst run differential over any three-game span since the 1951 Washington Senators were outscored 41-3 in three games from May 24-26.

Nobody needs that. There are African kids wearing 2011 Texas Rangers World Series Champions shirts who'd gag at that.
