The only thing surprising about this story is the lack of an underage hooker.
Did they check the trunk?

So everything was set up so Tanaka would face Othnai on Sunday, but Mike decided the kid was gonna skip a start. He'll still bat, and I assume get his ass booed off in the Bronx.

While making chump change, relatively speaking. I guess he balances out Pooholes.

I took a peak at Fat Bart's grey ink Hall of Fame chances, but, nope, he's nowhere close. He's a couple points behind Dave Stieb!

As someone who's been too baseball-sad to pay close attention to the Red Sox, I didn't see this coming.

I always enjoyed the hell out of Hanley when he was on, but he absolutely cratered this season and his contract was not conducive to giving him space to work it out.

EDIT: you'll need to click on the image, but black is Tulo, blue is Hanley, green is average. 😭

Wow. Nor I. I know on SOSH there's been discussion/fear about him getting enough plate appearances where his option year would kick in. This is certainly one way to avoid that. It's a shame because, despite his poor production, I always enjoyed him. There was a lot of joy in how he played the game.

can you explain this to me in simple terms, or is it a calculus question
