That's why I stay in as much as possible—maximizes my happiness.Kory wrote: ↑13 Nov 2018, 2:18pmMajor depressant.
I've been struggling with this a bit. More and more I'm preferring to stay in with a book, even telling friends that I'm too busy to hang out. I suppose I need to force myself to hang out more if I want to maintain things.Dr. Medulla wrote: ↑13 Nov 2018, 2:29pmThat's why I stay in as much as possible—maximizes my happiness.
I just remind myself of how bored I often am after, like, an hour when going out and that curbs any guilt I might have. It also helps that I've reached an age when there's no social expectation to go out or that you can be easily guilted. Plus, by spacing shit out, making it "special," I do tend to enjoy evenings out more.
