Sad news regarding M.E. Smith (R.I.P.)
The Fall albums Doomsday Plus (U.S. only release) to Infotainment Scan are great.
M.E. Smith could be scary (songs like 2 x 4) to catchy as hell (Cab it Up). Like others have posted, he was an original.

My mother decided to laud Kamprad's charity contributions, that Scandinavians aren't as greedy, are more socially conscious than North American businesses. I told her Kamprad was a Nazi sympathizer as a young man and that Ikea used East German prison labour during the Cold War, so maybe we should dial back the ethical capitalism stuff. She was annoyed.
