Hi Clueless, I'm Dad.
I was too taken in by your tales of vomiting up hot dog wine for your anniversary.
Those beans look outstanding.Dr. Medulla wrote: ↑22 Sep 2017, 6:11pmOne week anniversary of that enchanted evening. Tonight, however, I think it's a hamburger and vodka.
And people say Jugaloos arent dangerous.
If it helps, my dad was very funny.Dr. Medulla wrote: ↑20 Sep 2017, 8:42pmMy understanding of the entertainment biz has taught me that all Jews are quite funny. Armed with lots of jokes funny or a just plain funny disposition and way of looking at life? My dad had lots of jokes and liked to laugh, but he wasn't a funny guy (intentionally, anyway).JennyB wrote: ↑25 Sep 2017, 10:28amIf it helps, my dad was very funny.Dr. Medulla wrote: ↑20 Sep 2017, 8:42pmMy understanding of the entertainment biz has taught me that all Jews are quite funny. Plain funny disposition. He did have a couple of go-to "dad-jokes" that he would tell just to annoy me, but he was, in general, very witty and sarcastic with a great sense of humor. He is where I get my sarcasm from. One of my favorite things he did was write, at the end of the copy of "In Cold Blood" that I was reading, "Hope you enjoyed the book. Love, Dick and Perry." I read that book when I was 16 and we were living in New Orleans. It was storming and late at night when I finished, and my scream probably woke the neighborhood.Dr. Medulla wrote: ↑25 Sep 2017, 10:40amArmed with lots of jokes funny or a just plain funny disposition and way of looking at life? That's beautiful. It's such a human connection, that kind of playfulness. We only tease the people we care about.JennyB wrote: ↑25 Sep 2017, 10:47amPlain funny disposition.
