So what happened while I was gone? The idiot TV guy became president because American leftism accidentally tripped into an open manhole and got eaten by rats, Merle Haggard died, Chuck Berry died and had a surprisingly good new album. I moved to L.A. and I went on a date to Vasquez Rocks and accidentally got fucking married about it in a wedding.
Hell or High Water was a badass movie about the death of the west, The Nice Guys was hysterical. I started working at MTV, and had bodyguards at the RNC, then I got laid off and I'm kind of doing nothing now. My little brother died of drinking alcohol and then came back to life. I'm working on a profile of Harry Dean Stanton and I'll be going to his house soon (God willing).
I drove the length of I-10 and I-40, just about. Took some amazing pictures in the desert. Ate my way through the city of New Orleans. Nothing happens and then everything happens.
