Ugh, that feeling when your team gets a guy you always hated, Kinsler. Oh well, success will fix that, fingers crossed.

Chapman worked out. Edmunds was 46 years old already if I remember correctly

I’m actually glad Chapman got gassed and almost fucked up 2016. He’s a real piece of shit, and I’d hate to consider him the hero of the series.

Yeah, Edmonds was a billion years old. The upside was that his presence immediately annoyed Cardinals fans.

He's actually not particularly well-liked here. Not a nice man.

He’s a real piece of shit, but before he played for the Cubs, Cardinals fans seemed to like him just fine.

And I'm up to Game 6 of the 2013 WS in my re-watch (aka McCarver's Last Confused Stand). It really has been remarkable re-watching these games to see that other than Papi, the offense just disappeared … except at key times. Crazy lucky. That playoff run was on Papi, but mainly the pitchers. And McMarblemouth's relationship to the English language quite honestly suggests PTSD, like he'd been molested by linguists when he was a kid. Joe Buck should still be buried fifty miles under the ground just for being Joe Buck.

No doubt in my mind, the 2013 team was my favourite. Total magic and entirely likeable (Lackey excepted).

If you asked me about a trump presidency in 1987 my answer would have involve lotsa more cocaine.

And a collective insanity. No, wait, that's what happened in 2016. No sufficiently sane nation could elect Trump. Or Clinton. God, you people are nuts.

Not as funny as if it were a mechanical bull, but definitely the stupidest self-injury of this offseason.
