Sad. VH and I used Blueberry Hill for our recessional at our wedding.
Pretty much a perfect song. Is it melancholy or joyous? Resigned or victorious? It's in touch.

Fats Domino was the same age as Robert Guillaume? I would have bet Olaf's linker Hoden that RG was younger and FD was older.

You do realise that 1940 came before 1964.

RIP Higgins. I always remember the time he banged his head and spent the whole episode wandering the estate reciting lengthy passages from Shakespeare. Always had a soft spot for Magnum PI, tried so hard to be avant garde while coming across as just downright weird.

...but everybody who became a fan after 1988 thinks Mike Patton just died instead.

Yeah I just heard this. Certainly a band well past their prime but the early Bon Scott material is mostly pretty fun.

Was a fan up to For Those About to Rock and lost touch from there, but yeah, earlier stuff with Scott is their best. For a heavy rock band, always thought they had a great sense of rhythm, fairly basic formula but they did it damn well.
