Canadian 'SNL' and 'SCTV' alum Tony Rosato dies at age 62

In 2005, Rosato was charged with criminally harassing his wife. He spent two years in prison awaiting trial before he was diagnosed with Capgras syndrome, a condition that made him believe his wife and daughter had been replaced by impostors. He was committed to a mental institution.

I remember when that story broke. A reminder that when you scratch a comedian, you'll almost always find something messed up.

Is that why I got syphilis when I scratched Bobcat Goldthwaite?

Strange. Scratching Bobcat Goldthwaite usually leads to pyorrhea. Are you sure you didn't scratch Andy Dick?

William Peter Blatty. While the film version of The Exorcist is still capable of freaking me out, the novel is pretty clunky. The sequel, Legion and the film adaptation that Blatty directed are quite good, tho. The Ninth Configuration, novel and movie, are also decent, if not subtle.

Gene Cernan, star of the straight-to-video classic "Moon Landing VII: The Legend of Curly's Gold". Check out the DVD outtakes...the guy was a real ham on the set.
