Have you heard of Bandy? I hadn't until about an hour ago. Bandy is like field hockey on ice and was played by footballers in winter when floodwaters froze over. Eleven a side, same size pitch as football.Dr. Medulla wrote: ↑24 Jan 2019, 9:33pmI guess it is. I know about Bandy. It's like commie hockey with the same amount of alcoholism and less crashing the boards.101Walterton wrote: ↑24 Jan 2019, 10:27pmHave you heard of Bandy? Never heard of it, but I can see how it would have developed.101Walterton wrote: ↑24 Jan 2019, 10:27pmHave you heard of Bandy? I hadn't until about an hour ago. Don't know if this story has made its way beyond our borders, but it's kinda mesmerizing for the mystery and randomness. A combination of Columbine and Starkweather. If these guys are now on foot in northern Manitoba, it's a good bet they're going to die of exposure, predators, or even sinking into the muskeg—it's seriously unforgiving terrain, even if you're experienced and well-equipped.
