Ask Heston, a thread where you ask Heston

Post by eumaas »

Why are we here? What is the meaning of life?
I feel that there is a fascistic element, for example, in the Rolling Stones . . .
— Morton Feldman

I've studied the phenomenon of neo-provincialism in self-isolating online communities but this place takes the fucking cake.

As of 16 August 2015, how deep are we, as a species, in the hoopla? Do you foresee the hoopla rising or falling over the next 5, 10, and 25 years?

Why don't don't they just make the whole airplane out of the black box?
Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a bowl of soup
Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a rolling hoop
Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a ton of lead
Wiggle - you can raise the dead

Even the greatest scientists are flummoxed by this one. I have no idea but I think the universe goes on forever.
There's a tiny, tiny hopeful part of me that says you guys are running a Kaufmanesque long con on the board

We will always be knee deep in the hoopla, as foretold in the WBTCORAR scrolls.

Because we need programmes like Aircrash Investigation where 20% of the show is trying to find the black box.

Even the greatest scientists are flummoxed by this one. I have no idea but I think the universe goes on forever.
The universe is still expanding however will eventually run out of energy and implode back to nothing. In fact this is not the first universe.

We don't know that for sure. I watch endless documentaries about the universe and even the greatest minds in science can't agree on this one.

What are you saying, you don't value my theory on the subject?
