FAO Jenny's idle amusement

Sweet action for kids 'n' cretins. Marjoram and capers.

I knew there was something suspicious about Desmond Tutustein.
Same with Nelson Mandelaberg.

Could have sworn he died in the 90s.

Hello,

South Africa has such a complicated past. There are still boers who want the apartheid state brought back, there are blacks who want whites exterminated, there are many (most?) who want a rainbow coalition. When I would go to South African parties, I would often be the only white person in the room - without fail, there would be many people who came up and spoke with me trying to make me feel comfortable. They were happy a white person came to mingle. My wife fears Musk brings back apartheid policies - whether it's blacks, Hispanics, ot other ethnic groups, we need someone to boss around, blame, and dominate. I'm not sure why I'm posting this - perhaps for the fact that I was so accepted by a different ethnic group so easily.

According to my crossword puzzle this morning, locals call St. Louis "The Lou." Is this actually true?

Not really - kind of jokingly these days, if anything. Nelly (the rapper) kind of started that trend and it caught on for awhile.

That's a relief. That is the velveeta and ketchup on a cracker of nicknames.
