We've had six feet of snow so far this season. It's awesome.

Onto 9th straight day of unhealthy air. Got up to "very unhealthy" last night through this morning. Supposed to last a few more days. Sick of this shit, burning throat, phlegmy lungs, and coughing daughter at night. I guess my complaints are minor relative to those who don't have a house or a life.

Also this fire is like 200 miles away.

Supposedly we were supposed to be able to smell the Cali fire smoke here in Massholia on Tues. because the jet stream was carrying the plume across the country, but it was so fucking windy at ground level I didn't notice.

That'd be cool. If only because it would mean the smoke is going somewhere instead of sitting here.

Justinville is the world's coldest capital city this weekend. We're -30C with the wind, plus snow. If I were willing to go out, I'd be getting a bottle of brandy. My hope is the Boss needs to go out and I'll assign the task to her.

Ah, gotcha. We basically have the same temps as you and the forecast is tolerable by Tuesday and thawing on Wednesday. We got enough snow overnight, plus it's continuing throughout the morning, that I might use the snowblower for the first time this year. We've been lucky that snowfalls have never been more than a few inches at a time so I've stuck to a shovel.

edit: Nope, it's a snowblower day. It's fluffy snow, but already pretty deep.
