I was really hoping we had more than a couple hours in London. I wanted her to meet you and Inder. And we were going to see Heston, but the Liverpool game got pushed back a day and that fucked everything up.
That would explain the lack of time-space puncture wound in our galaxy.

The only one that wanted to meet me was Maj, but I couldn't get him out of Crawley, or wherever he lives. I was with some pals and they didn't want to leave central London.

My girlfriend was going to the bar and aaked me whatI wanted. Just get me a generic lager I replied. She came back with a Carlsberg and told me they don't sell that Generic lager you were asking for!

Very proud Dad watched 50.5W become only the 7th NZ female to clear 4.00m in the pole vault. She is also the youngest and the only one to do it at 15!!!
It was the second highest vault by a 15 year old in the world this year :approve:

Thanks guys very proud day :approve:
To put it in perspective, if she entered the US Track and Field Champs for her age grade this year that vault would have won by 65m!!
In fact the winner of the US champs would have finished competing packed up and gone home before 50.5W even entered the competition at her opening height.
Loads of photos Spiff will upload one.

Great video and congrats!
Look, you have to establish context for these things. And I maintain that unless you appreciate the Fall of Constantinople, the Great Fire of London, and Mickey Mantle's fatalist alcoholism, live Freddy makes no sense. If you want to half-ass it, fine, go call Simon Schama to do the appendix.

She will tell you yes! Her training partner and mentor won the bronze in Rio aged 19 so anything is possible.
