Anybody know what's up with this and how to make it go away?
The problem isn't CDBurnerXP per se, but that you (probably) downloaded the program from a site like download.com or similar. Go to add/remove programs and sort the installed programs by date installed. You should find the offending software as having been installed the same time as CDBurnerXP. It may be called "Text Enhance" or similar. Let me know if you can't figure out what the program is that needs to be uninstalled.
That did it, man! Thank you thank you Flex. You're a prince!

I'm trying to solve an issue on my Mam's computer. She can't send emails but can receive them. Any ideas before I get bogged down in technical hell? She's with Blue Yonder.

Sounds like you have a bad SMTP configuration...

Assuming hers is microsoft (I'm using a mac...) it'll be something like:

Outlook--> Preferences --> Accounts & select Blue Yonder.

The rest of the stuff should be something like:

SMTP HOST: smtp.blueyonder.co.uk

"Use SSL" may be the problem? Use if able.

SMTP server over SSL, the standard Port is 465. (Otherwise Port is 25 or 587)

I'm trying to save this picture from a website but it won't let me. Any ideas?

Scroll to bottom of the page, it's a black and white pic of a street...

I have no trouble saving it in Firefox. Internet Explorer 11 doesn't seem to want to. Image appears to be part of a JavaScript slideshow instead of a static image, so your mileage may vary depending on what browser you're using.

I'm using Google Chrome. I'm right-clicking but nothing is happening, culture-wise.

Or...could be that I've got my security settings turned up so sites aren't allowed to disable menu items. That and AdBlock is known to similarly un-boobytrap sites that use JavaScript to disable parts of the browser.

I found my first porn mag in those bushes on the right. 3rd July, 1976 I think it was.

Did it feature the Boston dingbat?

What she could do with her beef curtain was some real stretch of the imagination.
