Never a regular here at any stage but did see a list of signatures to one of the very early Satch forums with my old name - not this current crap one - very near the top. I know it was around the time of the Black Hawk Down movie release because I pretty much got run out of there for having, let's say, less than hawk-like opinions about the war "over there". I was dismissed as a hopeless collectivist which I think I had to look up. That's about all I remember really, well that and something or other about a kidney stone.

Because if there's one thing that should be expected, it's that Clash fans are jingoistic and ardent supporters of imperialistic interventionism.

Don't worry it was a let down like the last Clash album. All cake and party hats but no beer.

Ten years on and tep still won't acknowledge my revised username.
Don't fret. Mark E. Smith kept on calling Morrissey 'Stephen' up until the day he died.

Imagine if MES' last words had been a dunk on Morrissey.

I love this story that made the rounds after he died:

I can't believe the most of you is still here!
The greatest legacy he leaves is that he made a generation of people think for themselves. He didnt quite manage to change the world but he changed the way people looked at it. It's a sad day - but what a life

And I can't believe you have returned! The Great evair, the man who announced the news about the London Calling Vanilla Tapes.
(I still wonder how you found out, long before this material was announced or even rumoured to exist)
Please can you use your magic powers and tell us of any more new Clash discoveries in the archives?
