Just making my 25,000th post.

Post by Heston » 09 Dec 2016, 12:16pm

What crap I must talk.

Who's still ahead of me then? Think I'll be overtaking Doc in about 7 years.
I just polished off some Low Country shrimp & grits and a mess of collards. That's a hell of a strain on the arm.

I'm almost at 20K myself!
Look, you have to establish context for these things. And I maintain that unless you appreciate the Fall of Constantinople, the Great Fire of London, and Mickey Mantle's fatalist alcoholism, live Freddy makes no sense. If you want to half-ass it, fine, go call Simon Schama to do the appendix.

I am ashamed of my pathetic post count of [Spiff looks to his left] about 3,500 posts.

But then, I've always been a believer in quality over quantity.

I might not make any more posts and leave it at a glorious round number.

Is this 25,000th post in addition to or not including the Great Board Meltdown of 2009?

Was it not 2008? I think I had a few thousand from 2003 onwards that got wiped out. I had a different name then, though.
