Everything is cool mate. Just want to spend more time with my family and less time on here talking nonsence that seems to get up people's noses, intentionally and unintentionally. I'll still share stuff but I won't be contributig other than that.laxman wrote:Blimey, I hope everything is OK?

No way man.
Don't know what's made you think you've "got up people's noses", but you've certainly never been up mine. We all have spats on here from time to time, the dust will settle mate. Would be really sad to see you leave.

There's a tiny, tiny hopeful part of me that says you guys are running a Kaufmanesque long con on the board

Yeah. And we could exile Heston to Estonia if that would make you reconsider.

As I said privately, but it's worth repeating here, the door will stay open.

Hope it wasn't that thread/you'll stick around. Maybe take a break for a few days to rejuvenate if the board's been too much with you.

B) I let myself down by trying to push things. A uniformity of views is one thing however an idiot trying to be clever is something else altogether. I'm sorry guys.
C) It's all Morrissey's fault ...Bigmouth strikes again...indeed.

I'm just fucking glad I never had to take the top 5 thread back on.

Re: Time to go.
I hope you stick around or at least stop by occasionally. Although we didn't overlap on a lot taste wise, you were always very open/receptive to music suggestions and I really admired that.
Look, you have to establish context for these things. And I maintain that unless you appreciate the Fall of Constantinople, the Great Fire of London, and Mickey Mantle's fatalist alcoholism, live Freddy makes no sense. If you want to half-ass it, fine, go call Simon Schama to do the appendix.
