Flowers For Rob

If anyone would like to help out towards an arrangement for our friend Purple Hayes, you can paypal it to my account jamesmurphy003@gmail.com

I consider this a great responsibility and will provide receipts and statements so you know that what's been contributed goes towards the flowers. Full transparency is the only way I'm comfortable with taking the order on. I'll also shop around to ensure we get the best value for money.

Maybe if we end up with more money than makes sense to spend on the arrangement, and people agree, a donation can be made to either a hospice or cancer research charity.

Thank you.

Great idea but this luddite doesn't have PayPal. Any ideas on how to make a contribution some other way?

Sounds great. I don't have a lot of discretionary funds, but I'll send what I can later today.

If people do feel a bit pinched, a fitting amount to offer up would be the cost of a pint. Like buying him a last round.

A great idea. It would be really useful if Rob's son could let us know if they have a chosen charity.

I'm in. Give me till tomorrow to figure out how to do this money-transfery thingy; I've only ever used my PayPal account for full-automated eBay payments/receipts, so this requires consulting the instruction manual.

Very easy mate, just log in to your PayPal account then hit the "pay or send money" icon at the top (left) then hit the "send money to friends and family" tab. Enter the email address James (Silent Majority) placed in the first post of this thread then enter the amount / press send.

Yup, my email inbox shows it's been successfully received from a John Wayne Gacy, thank you.

Everything's coming in okay, I've just asked on facebook for the best time and place to send it.
