The Ultimate Women's Album - Side 1 Track 2 Vote - Round 2
Apologies for the delay in getting the Round 2 poll up (called out of the house, double-naught spy stuff). Same as Round 2 last time—1 vote per person, top 2 (including ties) move on unless one wins over 50%. If there's a four-way tie, I'll decide which one doesn't move on to Round 3. Vote early, vote often.

I'm very, very interested in seeing what happens here. With apologies to the Breeders, I went with Chumbawamba.
Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a bowl of soup
Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a rolling hoop
Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a ton of lead
Wiggle - you can raise the dead
Pex Lives!

Go Sweden.
There's a tiny, tiny hopeful part of me that says you guys are running a Kaufmanesque long con on the board

Dang, Breeders running away with it. I like the song but...

I'm maybe the third biggest Chumbawamba fan on the board - which is practically insanely frothing by the world's standards - but I also voted Breeders just because that Kim Deal vocal is world beating.

Yeah I cant fault people for picking it. It is also more familiar for probably...everyone.Silent Majority wrote: ↑10 Jul 2020, 10:41amI'm maybe the third biggest Chumbawamba fan on the board - which is practically insanely frothing by the world's standards - but I also voted Breeders just because that Kim Deal vocal is world beating.

I've always liked that Breeders song, and the the Chumbawamba and Lene Lovich songs are great too. But if ABBA fail to win this it will be the biggest travesty in the history of a board defined by insane musical opinions.

You're doing a stirling job, especially as I now understand over half of the rules.

No! It's you lot who are insane! Dancing Queen should not be beaten by a fair to decent Breeders song in any universe. Dancing Queen is the kind of song you would send into space to show aliens how good music can be.Dr. Medulla wrote: ↑10 Jul 2020, 11:34amAnd this man knows a thing or two about insane musical opinions!
