I swear to fucking shit that I never heard the word Shoegaze or Shoegazing until this very minute.
We reach the parts other combos cannot reach
We beach the beachheads other armies cannot beach

Astrobrite - Crush
you might have heard this band before very MBV sounding but still amazing
Somebody was trying to tell me that CDs are better than vinyl because they don't have any surface noise. I said, "Listen, mate, "life" has surface noise."

You've mentioned them before and I did find a copy, but I can't recall whether I've listened to it.Dirty Harry wrote:

Anyone familiar with the band Moose? Their albums are more on the acoustic side, but their first 3 EPs are supposedly quite transcendent.

Re: The Shoegazing Thread
I read the singer was mugged after a show and suffered skull and spine damage and an extended recuperation, which this album has some lyrics about. Could account for the softer tones.Dr. Medulla wrote:Yup, the first was much better.Kory wrote:Yeah, it's ok. I saw them live a couple of times. The early EP's are great but then I moved on. I really like the track "Jack". The album ...XYZ has almost all you need.Kory wrote:Anyone familiar with the band Moose? Their albums are more on the acoustic side, but their first 3 EPs are supposedly quite transcendent.
