Did anyone see this on PBS last night? I saw most of it, I couldn't hear the guitar, it's like it was off.
Also, I think they are replaying it over the weekend, check your listings.

Hearing only Entwistle is a worthwhile experience although not exactly a "Who" experience.
Look, you have to establish context for these things. And I maintain that unless you appreciate the Fall of Constantinople, the Great Fire of London, and Mickey Mantle's fatalist alcoholism, live Freddy makes no sense. If you want to half-ass it, fine, go call Simon Schama to do the appendix.

I don't know if it's the same thing, but there's a brilliant feature on the Kids are Alright Deluxe Edition DVD where you can have an Ox-Cam for a couple of songs, just his bass playing and him on camera, it's fucking superb.threecoffins wrote:I loved the isolated Ox parts on the Who's Next Classic Albums DVD.matedog wrote:Hearing only Entwistle is a worthwhile experience although not exactly a "Who" experience.
There's a tiny, tiny hopeful part of me that says you guys are running a Kaufmanesque long con on the board
