I've got a copy of Bob Harris' quiz book which came out in the mid-80s, if you need some extra material. What makes it rather difficult is that some questions are repeated with contradictory answers. Either Bob failed the Old Grey Whistle Test or the proof reader had fallen asleep listening to him talk.

Absolutely! The calendar had two wrong answers per month anyway!

That's nothing.

I had dozens of wrong answers every week.

Who played chimes on the Willows' 1956 version of "Church Bells May Ring"?
(I can add the multiple choice on this one if no one gets it)

What rock band based its name on the member's gym teacher?

The Aussie band Midnight Oil had a hit in 1987 with "____ Are Burning"
points for creativity

Which two Monkees share the same birthday?

#2 is Lynyrd Skynyrd

I know the answer to #3 (duh), but I really can't think of a good clever answer. I'll leave it to someone else.

3. "Futons Are Burning" (just like mine is, yo)
4. Micky Dolenz and Peter Tork ?

.
Leonard Skinner was the gym teacher at Robert E. Lee High School in Jacksonville, Florida (I feel like I'm at a lynching just typing that) and was a strict dress-code enforcer.

Hello,

1 - Chuck Berry
2 - Lynrd Skynrd (sp?) (I could have seen them play their last concert in Greenville, SC but I had a game 2 days after the concert and couldn't last through "Free Bird")
3 - My balls
4 - Monkeys don't celebrate birthdays

haha, balls!

Not Chuck Berry, this guy, though a "rock star" is considered pretty square. I'd say I like a song or two of his though.

I don't think anyone's gonna get this, so

a) Neil Sedaka
b) Lionel Hampton
c) Paul Simon (good guess, MH-F!)
d) Neil Diamond
