hairydot61 wrote:Hi, interesting thread here, I'm aware of a lot of the tracks and mixies you are chatting about, I probably digitalised from tape most of the ones you have, Kenny gave me a tape of the Good and gone session with the extra 5 tracks and I sent him a CD with those tracks digitalised, also the Paradise club, Boston which is a great show, great track listing, ....you may be aware of a 5 CD box set being released on Easy Action records later this month, it looks pretty amazing, all the records are supposed to have been remasterd and slighty expanded, it's on Amazon too, you may have seen some of the videos I'v put up on Youtube, have just put up I'm Mad Again, The Messiahs doing a John Lee Hooker cover, theres a couple of extended mixes of Sweet Water pools and a (tried to) Dub mix of Killer born man, appreciate some feedback if you take a look, cheers
I really like both your remixes of "Sweet Water Pools" and the dub of "Killer Born Man" I downloaded both of them when you first put them on YT. :approve:

That's great great thanks, if you would like a 320 kb mp3 of those tracks and the killer born man dub you could mail me at hairydot61@hotmail.com and I'll ping you them over, I think I have that Dutch gig your mate was referring to as well, not a sound desk recording, usual hand held cassette, fair quality though, cheers for replying

New interview with Bill Carter (first in a many years or even decades). Never mind the Fox "News" outlet, and in fact the interviewer - Greg Gutfeld - I consider an odious creep. But hey - that's the beauty of music and art in general: lovely people can dig horrible stuff and horrible people can dig brilliant stuff.

New (three years old maybe?) track by Bill Carter. It's brilliant in that tradition we all know and love...

Yeah. And as JohnS points out - his lyrics. I think Bill could teach an American Culture course at university. The man's got the gift. (quite a few actually).
