Producers

Post by Vimmattu »

I have been digging David Bowie a lot lately.
So it just crossed my mind, that not many top level record producers have had succesful or respected career creating and performing their own music. Actually right now I can only name Eno. Are there any others?

Ian MacKaye, from the Rollins Band's Life Time album in 1989 on down to the Argument by Fugazi. And Brett Gurewitz - producing the 38 minutes of distilled catharsis and brilliance that is Rancid 2000 qualifies him.
