I just listened to Diamond Dogs for the first time. It's good.

I gave much thought to my Number 5, it coulda been TVC15, Five Years, Blackout, Look Back in Anger, Young Americans, Memory of a Free Festival (can't count how many times I came home at 3AM and put that on while I passed out on the carpet)or a host of others but I went with.....

5. Time - I love the lyrics, love the screeching short guitar solo and the catchy repetitive chorus.
4. Moonage Daydream - Easy choice, great fun rock n roll.
3. Station to Station - It's not the side effects of the cocaine, I'm thinking it's three songs in one! Earl Slick shines at the end.
2. Sweet Thing/Candidate - That song oozes sleaze, it's like listening to a movie. It's actually an upset that this isn't number 1
1. Changes - Yeah, I went with the huge hit. Why is it a huge hit? Cuz it deserves to be. Autobiographical and the catchiest chorus ever. Last Sunday I was eating in a restaurant and I told my wife I felt the vibration of "Changes" on the table and she thought I was crazy. We walked two rooms over and it was indeed playing in the bar. "Changes" is the greatest song that has ever been written and recorded by anyone. Time may change me, but I can't trace time. I said that time may change me, but I can't trace time.
