Yeah, Marky cheated. I'm currently checking the rules of the thread to see if I can still ban him.
Yeah go on ban me I fucking dare you. Then you can have your stinkin' thread back.

The Pistols were always number 1 that week. 101 is just really a secret rod lover.
I'm gutted about this.

...and if Heston doesn't pick this "Don't Give Up on Us" - David Soul, then the world is dead.

I always preferred Silver Lady. That was actually the song that got me really interested in music. I used to sing it walking to school every day, pretending I was in Indiana or somewhere. Just had the wrong cardigan.

Five in chronological order from before the Beatles fucked shit up.
“The Purple People Eater” - Sheb Wooley (June 1958–July 1958 - 6 straight weeks!)
“Sleep Walk” - Santo & Johnny (Sept 1959)
“Breaking Up Is Hard To Do” - Neil Sedaka (August 1962)
“Telstar” - The Tornados (Dec 1962–Jan 1963)
“Surf City” - Jan & Dean (July 1963)
