anytime my wife wears anything pink I say "Youuuuuuuuuu...can dress in pink blue just like a child"
We reach the parts other combos cannot reach
We beach the beachheads other armies cannot beach

It's been a long time since I've listened to Joe Jackson. Loved the Look Sharp and I'm the Man albums.

1. Mad At You
2. Crime Doesn't Pay
3. I'm the Man
4. Is She Really Going Out With Him
5. Sunday Papers

Yep. I guess this could pass for my top 5. Only had those first two albums, loved 'em, tight little band he had then.

Ooh, interesting. I think they get a little dismissed because Jack White is a bit of a music snob, but they always released solid records. Definitely the soundtrack to my high school and college days.

1. Seven Nation Army (my high school band covered this songs!)
2. The Union Forever
3. You Don't Know What Love Is (You Just Do As You're Told)
4. Hello Operator
5. One More Cup of Coffee
Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a bowl of soup
Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a rolling hoop
Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a ton of lead
Wiggle - you can raise the dead

Don't really know the names of many of their songs, but every single time I've heard them - without knowing who I was hearing - I've loved them. Jack's voice used to kinda bug me, but he's a beast on guitar. And one day, when I win the lottery, I'm gonna go out and buy all their work. Oh, and I love Meg cuz she's just...so...perfectly... Meg!

It's rather unfortunate that Fell in Love was their breakthrough single because it always annoyed me. Could have gotten more into them in another lifetime.

Love Seven Nation, Dead Leaves, and Icky Thump though.
Look, you have to establish context for these things. And I maintain that unless you appreciate the Fall of Constantinople, the Great Fire of London, and Mickey Mantle's fatalist alcoholism, live Freddy makes no sense. If you want to half-ass it, fine, go call Simon Schama to do the appendix.

I can't believe I didn't include Dead Leaves or Icky Thump in my top 5. Icky Thump should maybe be my #1, it still charges me up whenever I hear it. Everyone's song choices on this one have been great.

Don't know if I've ever heard a Fall album in it's entirety, but 'Live At the Witch Trials' has always been one of my favorite album titles ever. Brilliant.

Frenz Experiment
This Nation's Saving Grace
Fall Heads Roll
Grotesque
Hex Induction Hour

I consider myself a big fan of the Fall, but I wouldn't swear that I've heard all the studio albums.

I think I've heard most of them. But then who knows what will be released now. M.E.S. seemed to write an album a week. My fave period was with Brix 'cause like I was so in love with her.
