I feel that there is a fascistic element, for example, in the Rolling Stones . . .

We kept trying to tell you but there you were with your Kajajaroos and Shawaddowdaddys.Heston wrote: ↑14 Jun 2018, 4:42pmYeah, I'm still reeling from the stick I got for daring to do Fleetwood Mac. I really should have been doing bands like Dinosaur Jr and Social Distortion.Marky Dread wrote: ↑14 Jun 2018, 4:34pmIt could've become an Albatross but we've done PiL and Fleetwood Mac already.Heston wrote: ↑14 Jun 2018, 4:31pmYou've done well to keep it going mate. Once we ran out of bands that more than two people could provide a list for I thought the game was up. You've done well to reinvigorate the thread with a different slant.Marky Dread wrote: ↑14 Jun 2018, 4:27pmYeah but you mellowed and your spite ran out. I find Meat Loaf and all those overblown jim Steinman productions really boring. If they had taken a more traditional rock n roll approach to those tunes they could've been great as Meat has a great rock n roll voice.Heston wrote: ↑15 Jun 2018, 3:02pmYay, someone finally volunteered a Meat Load top five after 3 years of me waiting.Silent Majority wrote: ↑15 Jun 2018, 1:31pmBat Out Of Hell

His song from the Rocky Horror soundtrack is perfectly cromulent.Marky Dread wrote: ↑15 Jun 2018, 3:23pmI find Meat Loaf and all those overblown jim Steinman productions really boring. I've become a fan of the HUGE rock n roll theatricality of Meatloaf.Marky Dread wrote: ↑15 Jun 2018, 3:23pmI find Meat Loaf and all those overblown jim Steinman productions really boring. Re: Heston's Friday Top 5
I like it and Meat should've stuck to that formula. His music would've stood the test of time instead of all that pompous nonsense. Meat Loaf's music sounds incredibly dated.Wolter wrote: ↑15 Jun 2018, 3:28pmHis song from the Rocky Horror soundtrack is perfectly cromulent.Marky Dread wrote: ↑15 Jun 2018, 3:23pmI find Meat Loaf and all those overblown jim Steinman productions really boring.
