I thank fucking Christ that Mark's one of my friends who live in a country with a humane attitude to healthcare.
Aye, no shit, mate.
I hate how precariously (at best) my many American friends have to live because profit is put above lives by an already too-wealthy establishment. I think about it quite a lot.

I know how you feel. The idea of debating whether to go to a doctor because it might mean not being able to pay rent that month is fucking barbaric. It exemplifies the governing philosophy of the American right: "Fuck you." (And the American centre: "Fuckish you.")

Wishing you nothing but good health mate, hope you make a full recovery.
There's a tiny, tiny hopeful part of me that says you guys are running a Kaufmanesque long con on the board

I thought for sure you'd put in a word for your piss-mate Doctor (and the Medics). ;)

Im fortunate as my wife works for a hospital and gets good health care /insurance. She had a serious procedure done to take care of a life threatening issue and the bill was beyond fucking huge. The insurance is covering most of it but the numbers they show you are frightening could easily land one in the pour house or dead/seriously debilitated if you had to choose the next tier option

1) The Cramps - Dr Fucker M.D. (Musical Deviant)
2) Black Sabbath - Rock n Roll Doctor
3) Sleater Kinney - Call the Doctor
4) Motorhead - Doctor Rock
5) Ramones - I Wanna Be Sedated

Joey wrote so many songs about not being well, didn't he? Poor bastard, even up to his solo album.

Best wishes for you Marky, I thought that was happening to me a couple years ago, but it just turned out my vitreous fluid was giving up the ghost. Keep us updated.

Yikes, best wishes Marky. You got a board pulling for ya here.

I'll think on my top 5 a bit and provide later.

Late to the party, but best wishes Marky. Like James, I'm glad you don't live under our nightmare hellscape healthcare system.
