Weren't they Muppet's favorite band after the Stones? You two could have been friends.
Blind squirrels, stopped clocks. Marky and gkbill are my preferred SBM allies.
I'll bet Chico was a fan. Maybe the three of you could go see them at Proud Larry's together.
Screaming Blue Messiahs Day has been cancelled. There is no word, as yet, on a possible rescheduling.
Be sure to check with Muppet
He's at the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame tut-tutting people for not being more respectful to their betters on display.

Trashcan Sinatras, Cake. The debut album from one of my favourite bands of all time. It's been awhile, tho, since I've played this. It's definitely a sound of its time, but it really hit me that this is the kind of record for people who loved Aztec Camera but have been kinda disappointed with most everything after Knife. I used to shove TCS in that post-Smiths bag, along with every other "sensitive" guitar pop band of the late 80s, but, no, these guys were picking up the early Aztec Camera torch. They put out better records afterwards—A Happy Pocket is somewhere in my Top 5 albums ever—but this was where I found them. They were younger, I was younger.
That's alright, and I say this as someone who is pretty limited to only DM singles. I'm guessing Anton Corbijn directed the video? Looks like his stark contrast b & w style, which does well to make the guys look exceedingly aged.
