Nicely put mate.Silent Majority wrote: ↑12 Sep 2018, 12:59pmI shuffled it via Spotify. Decent listen. His keeping at it puts a smile on my face.

I'm beginning to think we've heard the last from Mick, which seems such a waste of talent.Marky Dread wrote: ↑12 Sep 2018, 1:14pmYeah same here we all know there is a great Mick Jones solo album just around the next corner.Silent Majority wrote: ↑12 Sep 2018, 1:09pmI'd love to see Mick Jones out doing the same stuff, but I guess he ain't getting that Paul McCartney money.Marky Dread wrote: ↑12 Sep 2018, 1:06pmNicely put mate.Silent Majority wrote: ↑12 Sep 2018, 12:59pmI shuffled it via Spotify. Mentioned it in the other thread but Weller’s True Meanings is out tomorrow.
If anyone cares (I do) all the tracks are in the same vein as The Cranes Are Back off the last album.

I hope you are correct. While you are at it, could you ask Siouxsie to get her next solo album out please.Marky Dread wrote: ↑12 Sep 2018, 4:05pmWhat if I was to tell you you're wrong?Heston wrote: ↑12 Sep 2018, 1:28pmI'm beginning to think we've heard the last from Mick, which seems such a waste of talent.Marky Dread wrote: ↑12 Sep 2018, 1:14pmYeah same here we all know there is a great Mick Jones solo album just around the next corner.Silent Majority wrote: ↑12 Sep 2018, 1:09pmI'd love to see Mick Jones out doing the same stuff, but I guess he ain't getting that Paul McCartney money.

Hello,
Jaya the Cat - The New International Sound of Hedonism. Good. Guitar. Ska. Not ska-core but regular (?) ska with an emphasis on sort of rock guitar. Really good stuff. At times, the lead singer sounds quite a bit like the guy from the King Blues. They're from Boston but only bear a slight resemblance to the Mighty Mighty Bosstones. Worth pursuing.
