I would listen to BAD a thousand times more often if the songs were 2:59 more often than 5:59.
I had some BAD on loud for the first time in a while the other day. Megatop Phoenix. Very strong songs, but there's times where I wonder why I'm hearing the same loops for three minutes after the melody's finished.
A psychological break from reality?
I've got my shining faith in the Catholic church for that.
Well, that's called revelation and it usually involves images in burned toast, so you truly are blessed.
He puts so much peanut butter on his toast it looks like Jesus is melting.

I think that's the only pic I've ever seen of Mick and Topper and Leo as TRAC. Who's the guy on the left, the sax player dude?

I thought Napoleon of Notting Hill was an original title - I only found out tonight that it was a GK Chesterton book.

The I Don't Cares (Paul Westerberg & Juliana Hatfield), 'Wild Stab' (2016).
Still listening to this. So sweet, so rocking, more fun than you should legally be allowed to have.

My understanding is that Mick called the song Winning and one of the Memphis Mafia - Kris Needs or Robin Banks - renamed it on a tape that leaked to a coterie of journalists and fans. It's a wonderfully apt and uncharacteristically vicious comparison to crazy Joe Strummer in '85, charging across the metaphorical Russian plains against General Winter.

Marnie Stern, Marnie Stern. I'm not one for virtuosos, but Marnie Stern is so shit hot at making a racket. Great shit.
