Cheers Mr D, will check out later.
There's a tiny, tiny hopeful part of me that says you guys are running a Kaufmanesque long con on the board

They're really good. They're everything Phil Collins, Billy Joel, and Wham aren't. You should listen to them.

God what an awful racket...Heston.
Thanks, you saved me writing a review.
Im really thinking I should be buying this.
Meanwhile, I'll kidnap Heston. The rest pretty much writes itself.
Listened to the whole album on my flight, I love it.

That's because you're a good person who can be relied upon to do the right thing when we finally end the Hoyston menace forever.

But, yeah, it's a half hour of sweet racket.

As recommended on here somewhere, I have bought the first Stone Roses album. Yes, it is rather good. Thanks for the recommendation!
I think I deserve a large slice of that lemon.
Here have three.

Exactly, one each for me, you and Heston to suck on!!

Have to say though that that album is one that is definitely better to be heard in it's intended form as the track list and sequencing works perfectly.
Some albums are just a collection of tracks that can be heard in any order or mixed with other tracks on a comp etc.. but this works best as a standalone album.
I bought Turns Into Stone too, seems to be a good companion for the first album and the tracks do sound better than on the compilation I had, so thanks 101W, have some more lemons.

Agreed. Turns Into Stone is like having another Roses album before they too their hiatus. I have TIS on marble vinyl it is a thing of beauty ( I’m still mesmerised by coloured vinyl).

For people who hate the Smiths because of Morrissey, the three Commotions' albums are a dang solid alternative.

Hello,

The Marked Men - Fix My Brain. Good. Guitar. Garage. These guys have a Ramones kind of vibe but a bit more polished (not sure if that's the best term but I'll go with it).

The Fun Boy Three never existed in Canada.

I want to somehow force all of you to listen to the Chipmunks covering Bette Davis Eyes:
Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a bowl of soup
Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a rolling hoop
Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a ton of lead
Wiggle - you can raise the dead

Pex Lives!
