Some good tunes on that one but I think that was the beginning of their decline. Saw them on that tour and it was a disaster. I always tell people one of the best shows and one of the worst shows I've ever seen was the Kinks. Word of Mouth tour was one of the worst. Ray and Dave were fighting, Dave and Mick were fighting. It was such a let down after seeing them on the Give the People which was amazing

Re: What Are you Listening to Right Now?
I enjoy this album a lot. But yeah I don't think I would've wanted to witness that live show. Sounds like the recording of the album was not much fun either with Dave arguing with Mick Avory and insisting him being replaced. Still as I said decent enough album also enjoy "Return to Waterloo" fron the same period.coffeepotman wrote: ↑15 Feb 2019, 10:16amSome good tunes on that one but I think that was the beginning of their decline. Looking forward to the new album when it finally gets a release. Ray/Dave and Mick have been working on it since june last year.

Listened to this earlier for the first time in ages. It struck me that the first track "The Good, the Bad and the Ugly" by The Pogues is really B.A.D. by the numbers.
