I've been collecting the remastered deluxe editions of Nick Cave's discography and discovering pure dark horror once again. Love it.

I haven’t bought any of them yet even though I have seen them available at decent prices. Worth getting?

I've got that too, really good stuff on there. I think the Upminster Kid is as good as his rock and roll Blockheads stuff.

Yep I agree. For me the best tracks are Rough Kids/Billy Bentley/Upminster Kid and the Blockheads also played all three live.

Blockheads were a great band but the High Roads stuff sits well alongside it.

This has encouraged me to play the New Boots and Panties Demos plus Do It Yourself. This Is What We Find is brilliant, such clever but rude lyrics, his speciality.

Saw them loads back in the day. Not seen the reformed band as yet but have their last album which is great.

I think they're outstanding. The sound quality is great, and the documentary that comes with each is fun to watch. It's cool to see people that are really passionate about the band talking about what each album means to them.

Hello,,

The Spitfires - Response. For. Jam. fans. These guys are really Jam clones - not that there's anything wrong with that. Pretty catchy tracks, sounds more like later Jam (fuller sound, keyboards, horns, an occasional acoustic guitar). Worth the time (once or twice). The track below if from an upcoming album.
