A Poll of Epic Finery

Post by Flex »

Based on recent tomfoolery. Three of the titans. Which is best?

Oh yeah, as much as I love the League Fear and think Lee Ving is the shit, I cannot forsake Tesco Vee.
Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a bowl of soup
Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a rolling hoop
Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a ton of lead
Wiggle - you can raise the dead

Oh my god. Tough, tough call.

I think I'm gonna go Meatmen. But man, they are all delightful.

Christ, I picked Meatmen but I pulled out my "We Are the League" LP (Captain Oi picture disc reissue, kicks ass) and every time I hear "fuck you, fuck you, don't you tell me what to do... woman!" I get huge waves of neanderthalic glee.

Man, they should all tour together, along with the Dwarves, Anal Cunt, and Antiseen.

It would be the truckliest festival in the history of music.

Man, throw in a little REO Speedealer, some Supersuckers, and maybe the Mentors and the surviving Murder Junkies...you got a STEW GOING.

Oh, and the other day I explained Truckly to a friend of mine, and used David Allan Coe as the standard by which all Truckliness should be judged. He may just be the truckliest person alive.

He embodies tuckliness. Got a touch of Coe on my muxtape at the moment... more probably on the way...

several years ago a friend and i were driving home to Winnipeg from Minneapolis (about 7 hrs) and only listened to David Allen Coe, Biker Joe and some other country dude with some really special lyrics.

i needed to take a shower when i got home.

throw in some Limecell to that music fest as well (their song "You're Not Punk, You're Dirty" is a classic!)
