"The Shape of Things To Come" is pretty majestic as well.
I can totally see you doing a cover of this one.
I've asked him before about covering it. But he just threw it back in my face like evil Starship lover that he is!

Would be awesome though.
I love the song, just got some fussy twats in the band!
What are their thoughts on Starship?

The drummer heard my solo cover and asked what fuck I was doing with my life.

Long story but many moons ago we made an album of "guilty pleasures" cover versions on this forum. There was only ever gonna be one song for me.

Lou, the singer from The Headboys is now a mate of mine and we drink in a pub in town. For his age he has unnaturally black hair which he claims isn't died. Yeah! He's now coming up for 70, and looks a bit like an Ozzy Osbourne tribute act. Last week two rather mature ladies were trying to be all over him - it was rather entertaining seeing him being attacked by grannie aged groupies!

I think only 3 or 4 people ended up contributing in the end. Hopefully the evidence is buried beneath 300 tons of concrete.

Good mix haven't heard Black Superman in ages. Haven't heard the Buzzcocks cover.

I love that first album. The second one is ok but didn't quite hit the spot.

The Buzzcocks cover was used at the end of Shaun of the Dead over the credits, always thought they made a good fist of it. It takes a lot for me to like anything with Chris Martin's name attached to it.
