You like the Hafler Trio? I'm surprised.
Wouldn't go so far as to say I'm a true fan, but I like 'em well enough. I learned of them because they did a remix of a couple Wir(e) tracks, then I bought a couple discs used.
They're offspring of the Euro Free Improv movement and they also did a disc with Autechre. Do you like Autechre BTW? Chiastic Slide is one of my top albums.

(Album Title) Big Black - Songs About Fucking
Somebody was trying to tell me that CDs are better than vinyl because they don't have any surface noise. I said, "Listen, mate, "life" has surface noise."

Haven't heard of them.

I have a couple of Autechre albums 'Incunabula' and Draft 7:30 but i could never listen to them all the way through without skipping some tracks, I Guess you have to be in the right mood.

What other Autechre albums do you recommend ?

Chiastic Slide--it's the perfect balance of noise, glitch, and melody. Best way to listen to it is to kick back, forget about everything, imbibe if you need to, and follow the sounds.

I second eumaas' recommendiation of Chiastic Slide. Fantastic album. Autechre has other good stuff (new release this year, can't recall the title) but Chiastic is great, great stuff.
