So, SLF need to make a song called Hawkwind...

Manic Street Preachers - "Elvis Impersonator: Blackpool Pier"
Eddie Cochrane - "Three Stars" (about Buddy Holly, Richie Valens, and the Big Bopper's premature deaths - ironically relased postumously after Cochran's own death)
”INDER LOCK THE THE KISS THREAD IVE REALISED IM A PRZE IDOOT” - Thomas Jefferson

If I'm not mistaken the song Motorhead pre-dates the band and the same is true for the song Stiff Little Fingers, right?

Maybe that's why he wrote the first line backwards?

Nick Cave (Johnny Cash) - Muddy Waters
Neil Young _ Hey Hey My My (Elvis - Johnny Rotten)
The Clash - White Man in Hammersmith Palais
The greatest legacy he leaves is that he made a generation of people think for themselves. He didnt quite manage to change the world but he changed the way people looked at it. It's a sad day - but what a life

U2 - Elvis Presley And America

And if you consider Yoko Ono a musician, John Lennon has a bunch of songs about her.

There's a tiny, tiny hopeful part of me that says you guys are running a Kaufmanesque long con on the board
