Bin Laden is dead. Please let this thread join him.
After the statement last night, I was going to post something saying "They found him in the protopunk thread." Now you've gone and queered my pitch. :disshame:

Are you suggesting it needed anti-Semitic/anti-Muslim paranoia, conspiracy theories, and mouthbreathing rage?
Well, yeah.
There's a decent chance that Steve will be around to gloat, so you might get your wish. nsc, however, is busy guarding Scotland's wells from sinister Mossad poisoners.
This is why we love the good Doc.

Me n Hes have been avoiding that thing for years. It's to the point where it doesn't even cause night tremors anymore.
Look, you have to establish context for these things. And I maintain that unless you appreciate the Fall of Constantinople, the Great Fire of London, and Mickey Mantle's fatalist alcoholism, live Freddy makes no sense. If you want to half-ass it, fine, go call Simon Schama to do the appendix.

Does this count as protopunk?

Maybe this has been discussed before, but I think Bernie and Malcolm were influenced by these guys. Or perhaps it was merely some writer's (Savage?) speculation.

If it doesn't then it should do. As for the influence on Bernie it might have but Malcolm no way.
