Anyone heard from Inder? Is he OK?
If he doesn't respond to the YouTube video I recently posted in the Mighty Musical Observations Thread within the next 12 hours, we call the police.

1) Mr Moonlight came on earlier, what a great Lennon vocal. The song itself gets short thrift from the critics, always a winner for me.

2) Octopus's Garden is delightful, whereas Yellow Submarine sucks donkey's balls.

Wasn't Mr. Moonlight like the most voted Worst Beatles song? Such a poor song to cover in the first place, too. What's so special about it that made them choose to cover it? All I can remember from the song is the shout in the beginning and then that's it.

They'd cover anything back in the day, have you heard Besame Mucho?

For it to be voted Worst Beatles song is absolutely ridiculous, Lennon is tearing his lungs out on it. What about one of Harrison's bhangra bores?

Offhand, I can't think of a more boring Beatles song than "Good Night."

Maybe that awful sitar song on Sgt. Pepper that singlehandedly puts to rest the notion it's the best album of all time.

You know what else puts that notion to rest? The existence of The Fartz's "Fuck Art, Let's Fart"

Not really, but it would be hilarious for someone to go to the mat for that album over Sgt. Pepper's.

Also, I can't believe I paused listening to Sonic Youth to listen to "Good Night" since I couldn't remember it.

This is why we need to nuke Canada.

Newly Discovered Recordings Reveal Beatles Actually Terrible Group

LONDON—Just days after the discovery of several previously unreleased Beatles recordings in the attic of Abbey Road Studios, fans and critics across the globe have renounced their enthusiasm for the rock and roll band that was once revered by millions. "This unfortunate find has forced music historians to completely reassess the talents of John, Paul, George, and Ringo," said Beatles scholar Mark Lewisohn, who has dated the tapes to early 1968. "These songs are awful. That one sax solo alone has utterly negated the genius of Magical Mystery Tour and Rubber Soul combined. Certainly this missing link goes a long way toward explaining their solo careers." In reaction to the discovery, Brian Wilson of the Beach Boys has shown dramatic signs of improved mental health.

after a while, you start to smile, now you feel cool
then you decide to take a walk by the old school
nothing has changed its still the same,
i've got nothing to say but its OK

somebody needs to know the time glad that i'm here
watching the skirts you start to flirt now you're in gear
go to a show you hope she goes
i've got nothing to say but its OK
