When I'm playing Pepper, I regularly skip over that, When I'm 64, and the beyond boring Harrison sitargasm.
I can't stand 64 or that sitar shit, but I love "Rita".

I like all of those (well, "don't mind" the Harrison sitar bit), thus making me the biggest Beatles fan on this board. :shifty:

I like broads in uniforms, and Rita reminds me of that, so it gets a pass.

I don't mind Rita as much as the other McCartney songs. But I think Sgt. Pepper is wayyyy overrated. She's Leaving Home is tedious, too. Basically, all of the Macca songs blow, except for his part in A Day in the Life, and that doesn't count. Take out the Sitargasm and Macca songs, and Pepper is the Beatles' COL.

I've had Run for your Life in my head for the past couple of days because that song is so infuriating.

I've thought of that song recently too, but because I was listening to covers by Nancy Sinatra and the Headcoatees.

Listened to Revolver a year later. Still no epiphany. That sitar song is awful. Tomorrow Never Knows is pretty dope though.

Most of the Beatles' sitar stuff is awful. Other than Norwegian Wood, they're usually automatic skips for me.

The worst one is that snoozefest on Pepper.

But, I want to point out that Hoy is still retarded for not liking Revolver more.

Yeah, it's not my favourite, but a great album.

My favourite usually wavers between Help! and A Hard Day's Night.

Help! is one that I've never been able to get into. I don't dislike it by any means, but when picking a Beatles album, if I look at the track list there's not enough that makes me want to listen to the whole thing.

Are you referring to the North American or British version? I know they were different.

Regardless, I don't think any Beatles album is perfect, there's filler on all of them.

I would assume the North American version. I don't know if I'd say they all have filler on them. I think of that as clunkers that even the band knows are weak but include them because there was nothing better. There are tracks on each album that don't do it for me (most sitarfests) but I don't think the band thought they were crap songs.

I actually like the sitargasm, though i had skipped it half of my life. so it took me quite a while to like it.

my first choice was Bungalow Bill. very childish but i love the rhythm-changes
