i'm more used to the US version because that was what we had growing up, but this is as good an album as anyone has ever created anywhere ever, either version. The real version which Capitol took and sliced up is really phenomenal. So trippy, so haunting, even the love song has a trippy bass line and backup vocals, this album is as damn near perfect as can be.
From what I see there's still a little hope
That's if we don't hang from too much rope

With the release of the Beatles catalogue on iTunes, Radio 2 have had them on heavy rotation. Shame it's always the same old tracks (i.e. the singles), there's so much great stuff in their canon that your average Joe hasn't heard.
There's a tiny, tiny hopeful part of me that says you guys are running a Kaufmanesque long con on the board

"I Should Have Known Better," "Me and My Monkey," and "You Know My Name" are three of my favourite Beatles tracks—just dynamite stuff. You could put together an incredibly kick ass album of stuff that isn't on the Red or Blue albums.

One of the local FM stations plays a snippet of the chorus from "Drive My Car" (and the "toot-toot beep-beep" part) whenever they do the local rush-hour traffic report, which is at least once every 10 minutes for the past I don't even remember how many years.

I really hate that song.

"Anytime At All", maybe Lennon's best ever vocal for me.

"Hold My Hand" :shifty:
Look, you have to establish context for these things. And I maintain that unless you appreciate the Fall of Constantinople, the Great Fire of London, and Mickey Mantle's fatalist alcoholism, live Freddy makes no sense. If you want to half-ass it, fine, go call Simon Schama to do the appendix.
