The new stereo mix interests me if it's in the vein of the Yellow Submarine Songtrack. I mostly listen to the later Beatles in mono because I hate that gimmicky hard-panned stereo.

And once again, the elusive holiest grail of Beatles obscurities, "Carnival of Light," is omitted. It sounds like a complete nightmare of a track anyway, but what's denied is desired and all that.

Same here.
Forces have been looting
My humanity
Curfews have been curbing
The end of liberty
We're the flowers in the dustbin...

SiriusXM is gonna be launching a Beatles channel shortly. Looks like moving over some programming (Breakfast with the Beatles, for example, which is a great show) and some new stuff. Should be fun, at least for a while.

Chris Carter used to do a syndicated "Breakfast w/ Beatles" in the olden times, but now he does that fucking AWESOME British Invasion show on weekends. I love it. Makes me want to drive on Saturday afternoons.
*edit* oh, I see Chis is doing it. Good for him, working every day now!

Chris Carter is one of my fave DJs on satellite radio. Agreed it's great to see him bringing back Breakfast with the Beatles. His British Invastion show is awesome.

I've had this swirling in my head from time to time the last week or so. A weird mess of a song made weirder by Lennon's desire for it to be released as a single.

Yup, I got a copy thru inter-library loan and scanned it. Never did more than flip thru it, tho—just a minor curiosity.

I think I may have read it. It was only a few pages, if I recall.

Yup, 32 pages cover to cover. A perfect text—exposes the conspiracy without all those flabby unnecessary words.Silent Majority wrote: ↑15 May 2017, 5:11pmI think I may have read it. It was only a few pages, if I recall.
